Business Development Responsibilities
The Banking and Insurance team at VanderSat is servicing large corporates in Insurance and Banking. In insurance all players in the value chain, ranging from MGA’s, Brokers, insurers to re-insurers are our target clients. In banking we focus on calculating climate risk for agriculture lending. Clients can be anywhere on our planet. Critical growth markets are identified in Europe, and North and South America.
You will be prospecting and generating commercially viable leads with C-suite level executives across large insurers and banks and managing the sales conversation to from prospect to deal close. You will identify and develop new business opportunities throughout specific territories with new-to-VanderSat organizations. Convert viable prospects to active VanderSat clients, leading the full sales conversation and negotiation. Demonstrate commercial agility for effectively articulating VanderSat’s value proposition. Manage an average sales cycle of 6 to 10 months or less. Manage complex sales, of large deal sizes, across matrix and complex business environments.
