anderSat provides highly accurate and unique earth observation information to the global community. CEO Menno van der Marel is delighted to announce that Berend de Jong will join VanderSat’s leadership team as Chief Commercial Officer.

Berend de Jong will be responsible for further growth of VanderSat’s global client base as well as product and market development.
Berend de Jong: “I was triggered by VanderSat’s rapidly growing presence in the insurance sector and quickly recognized the impact VanderSat had already created in agriculture and water related issues. I am eager to connect the dots on space technology, agriculture and the world of financial services.
Berend brings extensive international consulting and senior management experience to VanderSat. He worked over 20 years for leading global consulting firms in senior management positions. Most recently as both Managing Director Accenture Strategy in The Netherlands and lead for Accenture’s global Technology Strategy practice for insurance. Before he held senior leadership positions at Gartner and KPMG.
Berend studied Information Technology at Tilburg University in the Netherlands, and Technology & Human Affairs at Washington University in St Louis, Missouri, USA.
